  • Kusanagi is sacred to Susanoo.

The Kojiki has Susanoo draw the grass-cutting sword from the Yamata serpent’s tail as his deed before it enters the imperial-sun line. Sacred first finding and holding under Susanoo, not a flatten onto Amaterasu (prior refuse) and not a generic sword dump.
