Rabbit
Rabbit as an animal people have named and used. Alertness, fertility, quick escape — one living kind, not a single symbol.
Nahua tradition
Rabbit appears in Nahua tradition.
Sahagún’s Florentine Codex records tochtli in Book 11 four-footed animals — named rabbit and day-sign animal speech. A colonial-era Nahua ethnographic attestation, not a pan-Mesoamerican essence and not an unfiltered pre-invasion voice.
