Arrow

Objects

A named fletched missile shaft loosed from a bow of long practice. Not a quiver, not a javelin, and not a bolt-only crossbow dump.

Shinto

  • Arrow appears in Shinto.

The Kojiki pairs mountain-hunt luck with bow-and-arrow work beside the sea-luck fishing quarrel of the Hohodemi brothers, and later imperial campaigns carry archery. Named arrow as hunt and war projectile in that compilation, not yumi as the bow alone and not a generic missile dump.
