Bodily Resurrection

Beliefs & concepts

The named teaching that the dead rise in restored or transformed bodies. Not resurrection as the bare rising-word alone, and not glorified-body as the transformed end-form alone.

Islam

  • Bodily Resurrection appears in Islam.

The Qur’an insists God will raise the dead in their bodies — bones reassembled, dust revived — against deniers. Islamic bodily-raising speech in that revelation, not resurrection as the already-walked general rising alone and not Christian bodily-resurrection doctrine invent.
