David

Beings

The shepherd-king of Israel in biblical narrative, psalmist and Goliath’s foe. Not Solomon as the son alone, and not a bare king dump.

Also known as King David

Islam

  • David appears in Islam.

The Qur’an names Dāwūd as a prophet-king given the Zabūr and judgment. A named messenger in that revelation, not Solomon as his heir already walked and not a Bible-only David invent without a Bible atlasSource.
