  • Ḥalāl appears in Islam.

    The Qur’an repeatedly names what God has made lawful (ḥalāl) in food, trade, and oath speech. Islamic lawful-permission speech in that revelation, not haram as the opposing prohibition alone and not a later fiqh category dump.
