Hyades

Cosmos

The V-shaped cluster in Taurus’s face, nearer than the Pleiades. Not Pleiades, and not Aldebaran alone though it sits in the V.

  • Hyades appears in Astrology.

Ptolemy’s Tetrabiblos treats the Hyades region among the stars of Taurus in fixed-star power speech. A named Hyades cluster in that handbook, not aldebaran alone and not a rain-myth dump.
