Sincerity that purifies deed of show in Islamic ethical speech. Not niyyah as bare intention-form, and not riya as ostentation.

  • Ikhlāṣ appears in Islam.

    The Qur’an praises those who make the religion purely God’s (mukhliṣīn) and names Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ for pure devotion speech. Islamic sincerity/pure-devotion speech in that revelation, not a later Sufi technical dump alone.
