Immortality

Beliefs & concepts

The named teaching that the person or soul does not end at death. Not eternal-life as gift-life in God alone, and not eternity as abstract endlessness alone.

Also known as Immortality of the Soul

Islam

  • Immortality appears in Islam.

The Qur’an speaks of khuld — lasting/immortal dwelling — in garden and fire speech. Islamic immortality/lasting-life speech in that revelation, not eternity as the already-walked lastingness label alone and not a Greek philosophical dump.
