  • Izanagi appears in Shinto.

The Kojiki has Izanagi stir the sea with the heavenly spear, birth the islands with Izanami, descend to Yomi, and purify in the river mouth so that the noble children are born. A named creator kami in that compilation, not a generic demiurge class and not Izanami under one id.

  • Izanagi appears in Kojiki.

Izanagi’s island-birth, Yomi descent, and purifying wash are core Kojiki narrative. Named presence in that text hub, not a free creator-motif dump.
