Last judgment

Beliefs & concepts

Final accounting of lives before divine justice in hope and dread speech. Not purgatory as middle cleansing, and not hell as the place alone.

Islam

  • Last judgment appears in Islam.

The Qur’an’s yawm al-dīn / last-day judgment speech gathers accounts, scales, and final sorting. Islamic last judgment, not Book of the Dead heart-weighing and not a Christian Doom painting without a Bible source.
