King of Swords
King of Swords is a face for The Work’s Cards map — not a map word. In a card-only vessel it can sit in a compositional reading.
description
Air: mind, speech, the cut that names. As a court face it tends to name who acts in the suit in a card-only meeting — agency inside that weather.
When the face is open: Exterior mastery of Air: judgment, law, speech as government.
When the face is turned: Judgment is cruelty, or the chair of reason is empty.
Alone it is the matter. With a second face it may be the matter or what the matter meets. With a third it may sit as field, crossing, or counsel. The seats are closed fragments — impersonal juxtaposition, not a forecast.
Air: mind, speech, the cut that names Aquarius · Uranus It does not unlock a Manifestation. Mixed with map materials it stays apart from the word map.
Place faces in The Work to see how they sit together. A return is another meeting, not a collection.
