Water: feeling, bond, what is held between people. As a court face it tends to name who acts in the suit in a card-only meeting — agency inside that weather.
When the face is open: A messenger of Water: first study of feeling, a letter from the deep.
When the face is turned: The letter of feeling is unread, or taken as mere mood.
Alone it is the matter. With a second face it may be the matter or what the matter meets. With a third it may sit as field, crossing, or counsel. The seats are closed fragments — impersonal juxtaposition, not a forecast.
