Rite

A rite is a threshold given a form: words, a circle, an hour after which a person is no longer treated as they were.

Rite is not a type. It feeds Threshold first, then Raven, because the bird already sits in that second register. Initiation is the name of the crossing; this page is the pattern of acts.
