Cloud + Mushroom

Drift is an emergent relationship within SHOE.BLUE: what becomes readable when Cloud and Mushroom meet.

A Mushroom is a fruiting body. The work is release: spores into moving air. A Cloud is water and dust already aloft, a weather that has agreed to carry. Neither owns the distance. The distance is the agreement.

Drift is that carriage without a vehicle you can hold. Fungus and Air take the split; Motion is the verb. The pairing is how a kingdom that lives by digesting the outside world still uses the sky, and how weather is not empty of other lives.

The Work is a way to sit with a relationship once it has become readable.
