Nerve + Pulse

Impulse is an emergent relationship within SHOE.BLUE: what becomes readable when Nerve and Pulse meet.

A Nerve is electricity in tissue: ions, a membrane, charge moving as a signal. A Pulse is a wave counted as a beat — blood, nerve, tide, the same surge wearing different costumes. One is the path inside. The other is the rhythm the path can be heard as.

Impulse is that living current recognized as a relationship. Electricity and Wave take the split; Cycle is the repeat; Human is the body that keeps the time. The pairing is not a heart as a page. It is how a made path of metal has a cousin in flesh, and how a beat is only charge that learned to return.

The Work is a way to sit with a relationship once it has become readable.
