Moss

Nature

Moss as a plant people have named and used. Soft carpet, quiet hold, damp green — one living kind, not a single symbol.

  • Moss is used in Medicine.

Pliny’s Natural History treats moss among soft growths gathered for packing and related applications. A Roman-era pharmacological/natural-history use of moss, not fern as the frond plant and not a Celtic mistletoe dump.
