Oil Mordant

Colors & materials

A named dye mordant / fixer lemma (Oil Mordant) drawn from public-domain dyeing and household-receipt speech (Beech / Hale).

  • Oil Mordant is historically related to Ochre.

ure-dictionary seats orphan oil-mordant beside ochre as a first craft peer — object speech, not a text-container or tradition dump.
