Hellenic religion

  • Thunder appears in Hellenic religion.

    Hesiod’s Theogony places thunder with the sky-fire of Zeus’s Titanomachy. A named Hellenic thunder in that poem, not lightning as the flash alone and not keraunos as the bolt-object.
