Cave + Echo

Resonance is an emergent relationship within SHOE.BLUE: what becomes readable when Cave and Echo meet.

An Echo is sound that found a wall and came home changed. A Cave is a wall that goes on until it is a room. One is a return. The other is the reason a return can happen. Together they are hearing as architecture: the ear discovering the hollow by what the hollow does to a cry.

Resonance is that collaboration. Wave and Memory take the split; Stone is the instrument. The pairing is not music as luxury. It is the fact that a shape can store a voice, and a voice can measure a shape, without either meaning to measure.

The Work is a way to sit with a relationship once it has become readable.
