Mycelium + Timber

Heartrot is an emergent relationship within SHOE.BLUE: what becomes readable when Mycelium and Timber meet.

Timber is wood after the stand, still carbon, still a house for other lives. Mycelium is the digestion that can live in that house without being the mushroom. Reclaim is root × ruin: plumbing again in abandoned geometry. This pair is occupation of the grain.

Heartrot is the thread in the board. Fungus and Tree take the split; Decay is the method. The pairing is not Rot × Mushroom’s floor. It is how a network can take a former tree apart from the inside.

The Work is a way to sit with a relationship once it has become readable.
