Mycorrhiza is an emergent relationship within SHOE.BLUE: what becomes readable when Mycelium and Root meet.

A Root holds and drinks. Mycelium is a net that can trade sugar for minerals. Bearing is root × compass: grip plus heading. This pair is the other job the root already had, the one that never needed a needle.

Mycorrhiza is a relationship title, not a fifth fungal costume. Fungus and Tree take the split; Growth is what the trade was for. The pairing is not a new plant. It is two kingdoms agreeing to a market underground.

The Work is a way to sit with a relationship once it has become readable.
