Solstice + Sun

Apex is an emergent relationship within SHOE.BLUE: what becomes readable when Solstice and Sun meet.

The Sun is a star close enough to be a climate. A Solstice is that climate’s hinge: noon height stands, then reverses, and day length follows. The lamp did not pause. The planet’s tilt made a standstill in the arriving light, a turning you can mark with a stick.

Apex is that standstill recognized as a relationship. Light and Threshold take the card; Cycle is the year that returns; Heat is what the standstill still spends. The pairing is not a festival. It is a local fire and a gate in the year agreeing, once, that this is as far as the noon will climb.

The Work is a way to sit with a relationship once it has become readable.
