Glacier

A glacier is ice that flows. It is a river too slow for the eye, grinding rock, storing winters, and calving when it meets the sea.

Glacier is a map item. Water takes the substance, Cycle the freeze and thaw, Age the time a body of ice can last. Ice remains the phase; this page is the moving mountain. Melt is the thaw; Erosion is the grinding.
