Shell

A shell is stone made by life: calcium laid down around a soft animal, kin to Coral and to Bone. In Brine it is a house. Later it is a Fossil or a Pebble the shore keeps.

Shell is not a card type. It feeds Stone first, then Salt. Growth is the making; Memory is what lasts after the animal is gone.
