Osiris dismemberment

The Egyptian episode of Osiris cut apart, sought, and reconstituted by Isis. Not osiris as a being alone, and not rebirth as every return word.

Egyptian religion

Osiris dismemberment appears in Egyptian religion.
The Book of the Dead remembers Osiris cut apart and gathered again as funerary memory that licenses reconstitution spells — named dismemberment episode in Egyptian myth-story speech, not a Frazer dying-god comparative and not Osiris the figure alone.

Osiris dismemberment is historically related to Osiris.
The dismemberment episode is the mythic violence done to Osiris that funerary reconstitution speech answers — a named episode→figure historical relation in Egyptian memory as the BotD corpus keeps it, not a comparative dying-god type.
