Hellenistic astrology gives Saturn a delaying, aging character because the planet is slow. Time here is a planetary temperament, not Kronos eating children.

Buddhist traditions

Time appears in Buddhist traditions.
Watson’s Lotus Sūtra measures teaching across countless kalpas and long ages of the Buddha’s life. Named time/age speech in that sūtra, not calendar craft alone and not astrology time.

Chinese tradition

Time appears in Chinese tradition.
Wilhelm’s Yijing is counsel for the right time of action and waiting. A named time in that classic’s timing grammar, not chronos as Greek dump and not season as the same edge.
